Today, Senator Randy Price (R-13) introduced Senate Bill 308, to create a new lifetime carry permit option for state residents. A similar bill was introduced in the House last week, but pressure by the sheriffs resulted in a house committee increasing the cost from $200 to $500. In SB 308, the cost for a lifetime permit is $200.
