  1. I might not get an answer to my question on here but my upper has a square on the side and a G above the charging handle. Ive looked everywhere and cant find any info on it. Can you help?

  2. I have news for you, Cerro is not the best ArmaLite is. They cast their own forging, they machine them, they coat them all in house. Armalite is the only company that makes their own receivers and are by far the best period!!!

  3. This is the beauty of CNC machines… its either within the spec tolerances or not… if its good… then the forge is all that matters… because it denotes material quality.
great vid. learned yet a little more

  4. i bought a bushmaster recently and all the bushmasters i see on line have different markings then the one i purchased did bushmaster recently change their forge ? even the ones on bushmasters sight do not have the same forge marking as mine also i have noticed that on the left side of the mag well where the lines come up and meet they do not exactly match to the upper gun shoots fine and everything works fine most people woudlnt notice a centameter difference just wondering if anyone knows what is up with that my upper has the marking that looks like a broken A what does that mean and why is it different from other bush master firearms that i have seen on line

  5. The consensus seems to be that the square forge mark denotes it was forged by Brass Aluminum Forging LLC (BAF) I have read that they are one of the suppliers of forgings to Colt and companies such as Daniel Defense, Bravo Company and Rock River.
