It's customary and commonsensical to remove the lens covers from your red dot sight before firing your rifle. Works better when you want to aim. Just a suggestion from an old Jarhead. Semper Fi.
Mine misfired a few times on the first chambered round when I got it. I have the same gun. You are chambering it too softly its not locking into place right. You have to pull it back all the way and drop it let it slam the round in. If you take the magazine out and try it without shooting youll see when you lightly cock it youll see that the bolt doesnt go all the way in. You can then push the forward assist and it will shut it for you.
Your parents were good for getting you the rifle, but they should have taken you to a firearm training location first. You need to learn all the safety precautions such as eye and ear protection before you fire the first shot. Your ears will be destroyed by the time you're 30 years old if you don't use protection.
GOOD VIDEO, BUT IT WILL DESTROY YOUR EARS WITHOUT PROTECTION!…You really need eye protection as well, if you shoot a lot sooner or later something is going to fly back and hit you!! 👀👍👍👍👍🤷♂️🤷♂️
Paid 500 flat for mine and even got to do it in payments. Came with 120 rounds (4 full magpul pmags and 1 aluminum mag) they were loaded with green tip steel penetrators, black polymer tip hollow point varmint rounds, and some normal hollow points. Also came with a sling, red dot, light od green/army moss green magpul furniture, magpul vertical foregrip, and a bright green laser and a flashlight. Can’t beat that! I’m loving it pays off to be friends with the local retired town sheriff. Scored more 556 and 223 today and two days ago I came up on 170 rounds of 9mm. It’s out there but you have to hunt things now 🤘🏼

This piece needs to be manhandled way differently…
The kid is good yet funny calling the bolt Lock/release a "paddle".
Pls! Use ear protection. Use some wisdom! Keep safe!!

Nice job man! I just ordered the same gun but mine is lame California version. – from San Diego CA
Cool video but get you some ear and eye protection next time man and do it safely!
Thanks for the video. Reload your mag straight from the top, don’t load it like a pistol.
Love to see people getting into this and not being afraid to share it with the world.
