In this video I walk through how to install a Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter (Gen-3) onto an AR-15 Lower Receiver. The host weapon I use is a Sugar Weasel by Q LLC.

For the installation you’ll need a few tools. In the video I use a Fix-It-Sticks set: Along with the Castle Nut Wrench:

  1. The amount of balls it takes to put this together outside while in the snow is baffling… or , your edit team fixed all the fuckups you had and you have a pile of detents and springs you will finally need to look for when spring kicks in … thanks for the video guys and congratulations on all the success !

  2. Be careful if you do this. Adding the folding stock adapter will increase your length of pull past 13.5" if you are using the same exact stock. Which will turn your pistol brace into a stock. And thus making it an SBR. You have to buy an SB tactical length of pull limiter to keep your pistol build legal.

  3. So, the SBA3 brace fully extended comes up to right under 13.5” length of pull.. the folder adds another 1-1/2” putting you into the “danger zone” as far as laws for a pistol is concerned… am I the only one worried about this?
