How to replace the switch on a streamlight stinger flashlight. Rebuilding the streamlight stinger flashlight. Replacing the entire switch and light assy as well as the lens. This is a simple repair that only requires basic hand tools. These flashlights are amazing. This light is the Streamlight Stinger LED HL, 800 lumens and rechargable batteries with charging base. Order of parts as they are installed into the flashlight body. 1: rubber button. 2: led assy. 3: back plate and 2 screws. 4: white led surround. 5: led retainer. 6: lens assy.   1. Streamlight's which I've used going back to the tool vendor pen lights, which weren't THAT great, have otherwise NEVER let me down and abused the hell out of them!

    Was an auto tech myself, and funny enough, the original Streamlight stinger I bought in like 2015, (which always works, as well as its NiCd batteries still) which has been used/abused so much, button is fine. My more recent Stinger HL, purchased bout year ago, button cover tore.. other than that, NEVER had issues with any of my 5 Streamlight's! Excluding the pen one's…

  2. I've been a police officer for 16 years and have used Streamlight 26 years. As often as I've dropped these lights, I've only had to replace batteries and 2 bulbs on them. Thanks for this video! The manufacturer's instructions missed a step.
