  1. I have the same rifle and love it. I have found that most 450 is not super accurate however with hornady black 250gr my shots touch. So that's all I shoot with it. Whenever I hunt with it I'll confirm zero with a few shots at the 50 then one for the kill.

How many types of ammo did you try?

  2. Wow i really enjoyed your video.I just bought a bolt action 450 but i do want a semi auto one too.I have a diamondback 300 blackout rifle and hope i can find a affordable 450 upper.I have always wanted a bushmaster semi auto rifle.I hope to find a 450 and a 308 upper for my diamondback AR rig.I also have a 5.56 AR rig that i might try to find a 6.5 creedmore upper for it.I want a big bore caliber and a smaller caliber setup for my AR rigs. Not sure if this will work for me but i cant afford a Ruger complete rig right now.I am open for suggestions from anyone that can tell me what problems i might have with these setups.I know you said that the 450 upper is very expensive but i thought maybe i could find a used upper cheaper. Thanks again for the great video.Im glad i found your channel. It came along just at the right time.Be safe my brother.

  3. Boy am I glad, I saw this. I almost bought that exact Ruger muzzle brake. Don’t get me wrong I own three of the best, I feel, Ruger products; but, I knew nothing about that brake.

  4. Okay, I'm thinking this port type brake is encountering some type of air flow compression as the bullet leaves the barrel. Don't ask me why, I just kinda see it in my head. The ports are pretty small, so I'm thinking it's doing something weird as the bullet gets close to leaving the end of the device, enough to make it start to wobble as it's exiting. Very nice review.

  5. Who cares if it’s for hunting or not my rifle is not an assault rifle it is a defensive rifle and I have a right to own it. Don’t play gun grabbers game the definitions of the second amendment is intended to be for defensive purposes and has zero to do with hunting.

  6. 450 AR is my next build, already have parts on order.
What spring & buffer would you suggest?
My thought is to start out with a 'mill spec' carbine spring & buff, but I've seen a couple videos where the 450 is failing to cycle. I think it would make sense to go with a heavy spring & buff but now I'm wondering if i need to go light weight.
    Let me know.

  7. If it wasn't for your video on this muzzle brake I probably woulea gotten rid of this gun bc i had the sams problem. Took it off and groups got better still having a flyer but not as bad as before

  8. Stock muzzle brakes tend to be terrible. All they seem to accomplish is make the rifle louder and give it a look the manufacturer wants. Definitely worth finding a good one.

  9. Ballistics like my 20g slug gun but allows me to utilize ARmalite platform in my straight wall restricted state. Try ADM Delta mount and a 30mm scope. It takes the abuse of a Scar17.
