ACS Minus the L has Battery Wells And storage it is great for fire starter kit, And just curious why the optic is so far back? I know There's no rule book just curious if there is a Reason as far as performance or something
The reason why your ctr stock wobbles because your ctr stock is a commercial stock. If you had a mil spec ctr stock, then it won’t rattle on your mil spec buffer tube.
To get your stock to fit snug, just wrap some electric tape around your tube. Apply as much or little as necessary for the proper fit.
Breath hard much?
Put a 1 inch square of duck tape on the buffer tube = problem solved.

What's the difference between this and just the ACS? Can't figure out an easy way to get that pin to go down so I can get it on and obviously the Magpul instructions suck.

yeee i've seen people mix commercial/mil spec tubes. Even though "mil spec" is thrown around a lot, it means something when name produces make a "commercial" product and a "mil spec" product. I wish there was more publicity on it

Bro.. your using the wrong stock.. your funny.. you have a mil-spec tube and your using commercial stocks.. thats why they are loose.. commercial is a bit bigger and has a slant on the end..

Magpul is so cheap in the US, 75 dollars for an ACS-L stock? Yes please!
I live in the EU, and that same stock (Mil Spec) is €143.90 (which is 163.40 USD), double the price you have to pay.
You're sight placement negates your BUIS and should be moved up to the front edge of your upper receiver for maximum effectiveness. – IMHO

Uhh. ok.. That CTR should NOT be that loose.. something is wrong.. almost like you got a commercial stock on a mil-spec buffer tube. Trust me.. it's wrong.. the CTR is a VERY nice unit.
Your CTR stock must be commercial. All of my CTR stocks are rock solid even without the friction lock.

your ctr stock is for commercial sized buffertubes, commercial size buffertubes are wider than mil spec buffertubes and that's the reason why it was wobbling even with the clamp engaged
