made in USA or China
Very useful video! Honestly I’ll stick to my TLR1-HL and will get another one, the TLR 9 doesn’t make a ton of sense to me and I still don’t understand why I’d go with the new design instead of the proven one I have.
Do u know if the tlr 9 have strob
How is holster compabilty
The 9 is Ridiculously long and heavier. I personally like the TLR 8 laser.
Your beard line on the sides is way too long and its actually not a beard anymore its the hair on your head. at 0:22–0:23 you can see on the top of your beard line on the sides the hair above your eardrum is longer than the beard. This makes you look way older than you actually are and it looks horrible :/ my advice is to trim 1 inch length on the sides so the beard doesnt extend so far up the sides of your head cause your mixing beard hair with actual hair.. its extremely noticeable.
Cant figure out why they would release this with HALF the candela output of the tlr1HL!? Design change thats all…
Can it take a single 18650?
Mike, grabbed a TLR-1 HL 1k lumen on your last review and am so glad I did. Good on Streamlight for innovating and giving us options.
I like everything except the taser shape 🤭
I'm more interested in that M&P tactical pistol…
why would you get a tlr9 instead of a tlr1hl. double the candela with the same lumens? no question imo. only thing that is better is probably the switch activation on the tlr9/7a
I like mine, it hasn't found a home yet like my 7 has
Ok the Hat in the intro is Glorious. Were do I find it , and does it come in Black ? I wanna make sure to stay tacicool feel me hahaha . Love you channel man
Algorithm comment.
For the algorithm
Good stuff as always, just know that if you light up my house at night I will be watching you through the optic on my carbine. Stay safe, seek cover.
CAN YALL HANDLE THE TRUTH
Iike streamlight, but holyshit that's surefire x300 u prices.
I can see the draw to this light if you are using your gear in a professional setting. Soldier , police and stuff i get it. For the regular civilian its hard to beat the Olight for price and function. Buying American is the argument for sure at this day and age though.
That person in the car passing by across the lake is wondering what the hell you are doing.
Would it be too much to think that the terrorist organization let out when Trump killed their leader
I absolutely love my Streamlight TLR-1 HL !!!!!!!!!!!! I have it on my Glock 37 Gen 3 , home defense gun. I just had to replace the batteries 2 months ago. I have had this weapons light for 5 years now. I call Streamlight products a Winner in my book !!!!!!!!! Thanks for showing the Streamlight TLR-9 , Mrgunsngear !!!!!!!!!
I think you mean 1x 18650, not 2x CR123a. Easy Nitecore, etc rechargable. NO GENERICS! You can legit burn your Whole House down.
I can't find your review on the polymer80 in the beginning of this video
I'm scrolling through your videos looking for the review on the polymer80 in the beginning of this video
dont you have a contract with Olight like the rest of the tubers
"Honey, that large bearded man is shining lights in his back yard again…."
Another great vid Mike, thanks!
Nice T-shirt!!!
Would there be less carbon build-up with the insane length?
Nice review. Like to know how the light holds up after a few thousand rounds. Keep us posted.
Bro where is that lake it's beautiful. Can't wait until I can leave the suburbs and go rural
They screwed up by not keeping the tlr1 shape in my opinion. Atleast surefire kept the same shape for holster compatibility
Really wish you could compare it to the pl pro for the cross river light section
Excellent information and demonstration. Great overview of the features. Really helps the thought process.
Mrgunsngear is slowing turning into Kratos.
All I see is a new $100 holster
Does it flicker when dry firing, shooting or dropping the slide like my TLR-7’s?
Not impressed with oversized pistol lights any more. Stick it on an AR, good to go.
Since there's an ammo shortage. That oversized counter weight would work as a brick.
I am steel running a Insight M3X I need a new light
Do they have a model with a bayonet mount? If I'm going to have something sticking that far past the muzzle I want it to be a bayonet.
God that thing is ugly as hell lol looks good on a 1911 though
I just don't understand the reason for the 9 vs the 1HL (esp. 1k L).
Many of us on here have a few pistols and a few rifles and a few shotguns. Some of us are very good with a few or decent with most. Few are great with all. Some of us reload and do our own load recipes for each and every gun even if two are the “same”. Something I wonder is how many of you have learned how to operate, clean, clear malfunctions on your potential enemies issued firearms? Like China’s bulbup service rifle. The qbz95. 5.8×42. How to clear a malfunction? How to tell if it’s a Canadian import version qbz97 in 5.56? Just food for thought.
I taped a AAA MagLite to my J-Frame.
Way too long.
