  1. That is a nifty job you did there! For anyone not using M-Lok or MOE to mount this (say you are using an existing rail) it is definitely worth your time to use the rubber rail adapters AND THE SCREWS! This is easy on like a quad-rail that is polymer, just get your tiniest drill bit and carefully drill a pilot hole. It's also just as easy if you're using a piece of attached rail, like a polymer MOE rail (I know those aren't very common anymore, but I still have a couple handguards that are MOE) you attach the rail securely, then install the pressure switch, you have to use the screws or it will bounce around and the first thing you bump it on, it will come loose, and we all know you can't have that. If you have an aluminum quad rail, well, think long and hard about where you want the pad, and then drill some pilot holes after you get it in the rail adapters and where you want it. If you have M-Lok, this looks like a great idea for a secure mounting solution.
