Howdy! If you still have a build with that Magpul MOE rifle stock, could you measure the Length of Pull?
On the Magpul site it states for the MOE rifle stock ~ 13.5" for LOP (which is same for an A2 stock).
But from the video images it appears that, if you line up the A2 stock and the MOE rifle stock by the back of the receiver,
the MOE rifle stock is actually less than 13.5" (I'm guessing maybe 12.75" LOP) — yes/no?
Thank you.
Great video 👍
Thanks bro. I live in a free state but I hate the collapsable stock and have long arms so im wanting to make a carbine upper/a2 lower. I think it'll look cool, 90's style. 👍
“Mag lock”?… wtf type of crap is That?… EVEN RUSSIA ISNT THAT BAD!….RUSSIA!
(Hang every democrat)
Idiots
How do you tell Milspec from commercial on your buttstock?
new sub. Thanks for the video.
I know it's been almost half a decade since you made this, I have to thank you for making an informative video with clear communication and useful knowledge.
The bottom on looks like a tailhook pistol brace
Compliance ! I hate that word. Why don't they just say Anti Constitution?
Good stuff!
what is the length of the different buffer and buffer springs ?
In these states that have many restrictions , or hoop jumps if you will , makes me feel fortunate that i live in good ole ky , firearm restrictions , none . Great vid. Sub+ 1 , im myself wish i had went with a A2 stock instead of a carbine , its just doesn't feel right standing 6ft,3inches with long arms . I suppose a rifle build is in order .
Thanks for the video man. But we CAN, in fact, have collapsible butt stocks on fixed magazine rifles! Along with any other normal feature on an AR like a removable muzzle device. As you know all your ARs there are not considered AWs cus they are either featureless or have fixed magazines. So on the fixed magazine rifles you can have any thing just as if it were a bolt action rifle with a muzzle device and collapsible stock! I recently realized some of these aspects of the SAFE Act that I had wrong assumptions about as well.
Is it still really an ar-15 if you're using Chinese parts?
Great and informative explanation style. I liked it a lot. I have bought a Ruger AR 556 with a collapsible stock. I have been contemplating switching to a Fixed stock like the one in the middle. Please , elaborate as to:
1. Could it be done ? Any proprietary limitation from Ruger?
2. Brand of reputable stock, spring , etc.. you would recommend.
3. Can I do it with an average knowledge of assembly and disassembly?
Thank you so very much for your reply .
Very good explanation of differences in components, very informative, and well done. Thank you for sharing.
Some piston ars dont require the buffer system
U can have a collapseable if the magazine if fixed I believe or if u build off a 80%
