The laugh when he says he doesn't recommend it lol…. Thanks for the honest review
I think shooting myself in the leg with the few rounds that actually loaded properly might be less painful than using that thing. Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I have read that it works better if you pre-load one round in the magazine but I won't be buying one to find out. It's a shame…30 years ago, Ramline made aftermarket 10/22 magazines and a loader. The mags were all polymer/plastic but had a lifetime warranty (which they honored) and the loader actually worked well. The hi-cap mag ban, I assume, ended the company as I don't think they exist anymore. This, from Caldwell, looks like it's as functional as a poorly made football bat. Thank you for this, again, as it saved me from making a purchase I would likely have regretted.
I got one. Wish I'd seen the video first. Piece of junk with my weak hands
Wow, what a great idea. Too bad it doesn't work. So glad you made this video.
This one looks like it sucks
To be fair, other reviewers say that you FIRST have to load a single round into the magazine. Next step is that once the magazine is full and is ejected from the loader, there will be a round remaining in the loader. That round should be removed before inserting another magazine, again loaded with a single round. For all of you that are quick to bash products before doing your own research, check out some credible reviews before making a decision…just sayin'
read the directions. you are to load one round in the mag first then install mag and begin loading.
4 out of 5 stars on Amazon.ca. Glad I watched this video, looks like a piece of junk. Once again you can't trust the reviews on amazon.
i bought one and got problem, ammo not move in middle bemd
Calico needs to make something like this for their .22LR pistol.
You have to put the first round in the mag first, then it works fine.
you're supposed to preload 1 first
Great video honestly glad you saved me $23
As someone mentioned earlier the manufacturer stated to load one round into the magazine first. Not making excuses for the product, but it is in the instructions.
hello there
Thanks for the review, but I don't have much of a choice in Canada lmao.
Got mine 2 weeks ago and here is how I got it sort of working:
0. Clean and Oil : CCI rounds have tons of wax on it, cleaning is necessary and put some gun oil into it then wipe.
1. Level : it won't work on bench when levelling with magazine holder on a desk, need a tilt, say around the slop of cartridge holder box.
2. Feed 1st one into magazine, then insert into loader — mine will never work without first one loaded.
Yeah it still fails on me, but less annoyingly frequent.
Maglula makes some great 22 LR loaders.
Thanks for that review, I'm not buying that crap for sure. 🙂
Maybe you need to go slower , I thought you were turning it to fast. You did not try it by going slower. Just my thought.
Is your Lee Pro 1000 review still up? I couldn't find it.
I’ll show you how to use that thing next time I see you. The feeder finger and crank handle need to be in a certain spot before you insert the mag and start loading. Mine looks a bit different (it’s about 10 years old) and works fine.
How to unload mags: point rifle down range, press trigger until it’s empty.
I admire his patience,…I'd have it shot through and through, as soon as I could get that POS Loader to the range!
See,…this is another reason why I like my Marlin 60 🙂
Looks like a big pile o' poop.
That looks as fragile and moody as a Ryerson grad.
That speed loader looks like a fine target for your next trip to the range. Don’t forget to clean up and recycle the leftovers.
You don't see very often reviews that scream DON'T BUY ME!!! Thanks for saving us time and money.
Looks like old butler creek loader
