  1. Something I recently learned that can help everyone out. The clovis pins are helpful, but there are other things you already will be needing that do the same thing. The mounting blocks for the upper receiver have the pins that go through the takedown lugs. Those pins are made to work the same as the clovis pin. Last build I launched both detents as I had forgotten this little tip. God I hope I remember this for next time, lol.

  2. 5.56 is impossible to double charge. Their might be one powder you could. 9mm you can with just about every powder. That said regular over charge is much riser to do, the real danger is squibs. El bulletin suck in barrelo.

  3. One of the best tips I've seen for installing bolt release catch pins, was to put the rool pin in a drill Chuck and slightly bevel the edge on a fine file. Not to a point, but a bevel barley a eighth of an inch. Also chase the hole with the appropriate size drill to remove cast slag. I take the Hell out of the side and use a Vise grip wrench, with electrical taped jaws and a little lube on the pin, . No pounding at a difficult angle, just a smooth insertion as you readjust the jaws of the Vise grip. The last 1/16 th May need some tapping in with a suitable sized punch, but it works like a charm. Can't remember where I saw this, but it cured a lot of frustration. Thanks for the great info, I like your approach and comments !

  4. OK so I have a hard time taking advice from someone who says in 2015 they couldn't source parts correctly and that was the first time they ever built an AR15 …… Anyone with even the Google skills of an 8 year old could've sourced parts in 2015 to find them and get them in less than 2 months ….. I literally built at least 10 AR's for friends (and 2 for myself) in the same time period he is talking about in 2015 and the time between ordering the parts and having a complete rifle was less than 2 weeks ……. Never mind the fact that I and many others have been buying from Palmetto State Armory since 2010 and have never had any problems, and anyone who is going to claim that there was a quality control issue in 2015 knows nothing about this company or their products …… the QC issues popped up in 2013 because of the high demand for AR's after Sandy Hook and that got PSA to not only get behind in their own manufacturing which resulted in lack of QC (which BTW only lasted about 6 months before they fixed it), but also resulted in them contracting with PTAC and selling their guns on the PSA website, which were inferior guns that had issues, but contrary to internet chatter, were not PSA built guns …… I can't take this video seriously ….. not only is he wrong on his talking points and obviously lacks knowledge on the subject he is speaking on, but we are 5 minutes in and he hasn't gotten to the point of the video yet …… Not to mention I love that the pinned comment is a parts list with his codes so he can make money off of people when his advice lacks experience or knowledge.

  5. U can’t even get a poverty pony for 120 nowadays. I get this video was made months ago tho. Anything below $200 is what tye number should be today wity covid and that dipshit president they gave us

  6. I have a Delton Parts kit and a Tac 5 lower.. I payed like $600 out the door.. and i had no problem putting in the de tent pin in the front with out that tool you said was a doller

  7. My first AR build I started with the complete upper from PSA, the lower was not over $100 at the time before the pandemic, my build was crazy affordable. The BCG from Brownells, I opted for the nickel boron. I do have to say your channel helped a lot with multiple builds from ARs to polymer80 Glock builds, thanks for doing what you do.

  8. people say a lot about how lowers differ, my Hellbreaker Gen 2. was a lot easier to punch parts into than my Anderson lower, but in the end I still have two finished firearms that I'm happy with, to each their own in the end.

  9. To everyone watching this, I put together two rifles today. I used a razor blade, two drill bits, masking tape, Allen wrench, flat head, 5/8 open end, one punch and a steel ball-peen hammer. All of which I already owned. You don’t need any of this stuff. Some of its nice but unless you are attaching a barrel you don’t need any of it.
