Range comparison EOTech Reticle vs Red Dot

I’m in the market for a reflex optic on a new gun. Before plunking down my hard earned dollars, I decided to test whether I get any benefit from a circle dot reticle compared to a simple red dot. I don’t want to give the conclusion away in the description, but, if you pay attention to the accuracy when I have the data on screen, it’ll be obvious.

  1. Eotech has almost zero parallax. Makes a difference in accuracy and precision. It's big and heavy. Feels like having an old school tv strapped to the top of your rifle and the battery life sucks, but they shoot well.

  2. Thanks 500$ for this vid
I was between an eotech or red dot, had a 512 on my ak AND YOURE TOTALLY RIGHT, I cut trees down with my ak from 21yards with just my iron sights.
This time I was wondering about c-more or xps-2, vid helped make sure my money was well spent. Thx dude!!

  3. This is a no brainer. An Eotech is far superior in every way to any red dot ever built. It’s laser technology not led lights. 1 moa dot with 65 moa ring. Eotech is far more versatile. Now. All that said. For home defense. Just being a great point shooter is what’s important. Most gunfights end without ever even having aimed. Fact
