  1. How I know it's fake easily is that the hood is squarish and the real one is curvy, especially when looking through the glass. These knock offs can put lives at risk and must be notified, the best part is buying a real Eotech it can save you hundreds of dollars and even your life.

  2. Bought one from Amazon. It came with original packaging, instructions, warranty details, registration information etc…the optic inside was the $40-$80 knockoff also sold on Amazon. I'm guessing, someone took the original, returned the fake and got themselves a real EOTech for about $40. Not all Amazon staff are 'gun people', got the box, looked inside and saw an optic that resembled the picture on the box and put it back on the shelf. I now buy from reputable dealers (minus Optics Planet due to their faulty "In Stock" trickery). Thank for putting this out.

  3. I still have not seen your final review for the rf85 Anderson rifle. Please just tell me what you think in this comment or Point me towards the link if you have done a final review. Is it legit?

  4. The 'Eotech' fake you used as a stalking horse was the lamest, most obvious fake I've ever seen, and wasn't even the EXPS2 or 3 current variety. This could have been more helpful if you started with a fake that actually facially looks real, and used the current models.
