How long does the foam last and if it starts to get brittle and/or rot can you get new foam?. Also, a lot fasteners on thus stock. It loctite recommended?

Can you use a standard spring and buffer with that additional spring? And can you use your own endplate?
Have you folks done anything to beef up the single screw that holds the buttplate to the length adjusting rod?? Maybe use a screw that actually goes full depth of the threads? And increase the screw thread size from 8-32 to 10-32 or 12-32?
