I am not affiliated with any of these companies (Arisaka, Surefire, or Streamlight), I’m just passing along helpful information.

lol…
Step 1: buy a chit weapon light for 100 bucks, throw tail piece and pressure pad directly into the trash following unboxing.
Step 2: spend almost as much as the original POS light cost on a pigtail and pad for a SF
Step 3: Spend another 35 for an adapter
Step 4: Kick yourself in the nuts for now having more money, and especially time, into a weapon light than you would have if you would have just bought a decent light to begin with
This was the video I was looking for. Well done. Question, does installing the adapter and pressure switch from surefire increase the water resistance of the streamlight? I know the streamlight pressure switch isnt as waterproof as the surefire one so I'm wondering if the arisaka adapter with the surefire switch let's water in. Thanks.
I just got mine. Awesome little upgrade wasn’t really a fan of their remote switches.
So by the time you add all that adapters you could have just got a surefire to start with.
3:40 looked like you were pressing the pressure pad on and off. ….not saying that's what you were doing ….just kinda looked that way. Soo I do have a question, if the first streamlight was flickering and not working well, …why did you buy 5 more?? And why did you not ask stream light to replace it??
So would you be able to use the arisaka tc2 tailcap on the adapter?
Great review 🤙🏼
Do you have a link to that item?
Thanks
I’m wondering if that tailcap is the protac 1/2 version? I noticed on their site they have an hlx tailcap version
