It also helps to be a Godly person. Some of what you said was straight from the Bible. Being quick to listen and slow to speak (James 1:19). Controlling your emotions, exercising self discipline, and being a loving person. Christ tells us to "love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:12).

5 tips for concealed carry
Keep confrontations to a minimum

Situational awareness

A good edc belt

A Glock that is concealable with a solid holster

A solid knife, light, keys, phone, wallet

Most NDs are because of poor handling, carrying chambered at all times, and leaving loaded guns around for others to fiddle with. If you just keep it in the holster, clear it every time you pick it up, and keep positive control of it at all times, it's pretty hard to screw up.

This is all what I carry for the past 8 years I had my CCW. Bull leather belt, pocket knife, wallet, inside or outside the wasteland holster (depends how I feel), and ether a G 19, 26 or 43. Sometimes a extra mag. I’m not looking for a war…

Semper Fi Jarhead. I've carried daily since 1974 and I lived in New York City till 2012. And believe me, NYC is a testing ground for conceal carry discipline. I no longer live in NY. Besides it not being a gun friendly place, rent was getting outrageous, crime is on the rise again, secularism is the preferred philosophy and taxes are to high. Today I live in a gun friendly state. I'm in the country, I have a wonder church within 3 miles of me. And I shoot almost every week. And as peaceful as it is where I live, I still carry everyday. Consciously. Because I can. God bless
