Besides this guy becoming a felon, he did not harm this weapon. He only cut the barrel to an illegal length. The barrel can be replaced, different weights, lengths and bores. This guy had to be paid to sell out America and its safety.

This man is now a felon. He just made an SBR on camera without filing paperwork with the ATF. What he did on camera was the illegal manufacture and ownership of a class 3 firearm, specifically a Short Barrel Rifle, which is a felony in violation of the NFA and punishable up to 10 years in prison.
