Why I Hate AK Pistols
I remember the first time I saw an AK/AR pistol and the first thing I thought to myself was. “What the heck is that?” I didn’t understand It, it just looked unfinished.
Then I remembered the first time I shot an AK/AR pistol and the first thing I thought was, “I don’t understand why people love these things”. To this day, my feelings towards AK/AR pistols has been one of scepticism, but now, I think it has grown to full-blown hate. Maybe.

Colion, I think you are being a bit to self conscious… you do not look like a dork shooting it at first. It does happen as you continue to play with how you stand and shoot… at first it just looks a bit awkward.
I like the milled receiver and depending on the innards I would consider converting it to NFA configuration SBR w/stamp the heavier 7.62 is nice up close and personal IMO.
Stock promotes stability and confidence in shooting. Without a stock it's a movie prop, from the hip spray and pray. 😞
It's not about how you look. The gun needs a brace, that now can be legally shouldered. Or stock, but that isn't legal unless SBR which changes it's legal limits as far as loaded in vehicle. Is that the overall point your trying to make? Love you bro. Great vid. It does look dorky.
Way more useful with a sling so you can tension against the sling to stabilize it and more out of the way when you let it hang. Yes they are awkward though.
Be thankful for being able to own one.

I love ak pistols, I want one sooo bad… but I want a collapsible stock on one for sure. Packs slim, shorter barrel, heavy round. I love small, heavy hitters. High capacity, high conceal ability, keep it family friendly, but always ready to defend. It's not about cool, it's about what works well for the individual(s) needs. Keep it out of the eye of the public, but easily accessibly for specific (may or may not happen) scenarios. BUT… come on… having multiple types of firearms for a good amount of time to get comfortable with them, and finding what works best is apart of it. The ak or ar pistol designs are great for trying to find a style for those exploring mid range strategies, while learning more about functionality, and capability of different components. It's like forming a symphony, the mathematics, the flexibility, the control with a design of finely engineered projectile launching tool… I dont know… shits interesting. "How many targets can i ping in What time at what range, with what consistency?" The math behind the rounds, the style of tool, the customization… its endless possibilities. What's cool? Shit. It's all cool. What's not cool? Lack of safety. Proper training and safety control is cool. Guns are fascinating. Be safe, have fun, and be responsible

I had the same question 15 years ago (before braces). I got taken to school, the answer is there should be a sling on it. You put the sling around you and press the pistol forward making the sling tight. This tension will stabilize the pistol and make it reasonable to shoot/aim.
But what do you think of the furniture?
