The Illinois General Assembly will reconvene for a Veto Session on October 28th and gun control legislation may move quickly. Anti-gun legislators are not giving up in their attempt to pass Senate Bill 1966 to criminalize private firearm transfers and unnecessarily increase the cost and red tape for a FOID. SB 1966 previously passed the House, so it is critical that the Senate votes it down in this Veto Session.
