CMMG Replaces 22 Kit
This is a follow up to a post we made on social media in regards to some issues we were having making a CMMG 22 kit run properly.
A kit we bought 9 years ago and never used.
Well…CMMG reached out to us unsolicited and indicated that:
1.The kit we have is a legacy design and has been dropped for a newer one.
2.CMMG warranties their products for life and wished to replace the kit with a new model.
3.They were adamant on this last statement: If we know of anyone with a legacy kit that is having issues, they wish to replace the kit at no charge.
How can you not be impressed by that? Being honest…I don’t know much of anything about CMMG. But I need to start buying more stuff from these folks.

I got one of the new kits about 3 yrs ago, can't recall any issues though I've put only about 800rds through it. Liked this kit because I didn't want to have to buy another AR is just 22lr and got enough space issues as is. Be interested to see if this new one works better for you.
Good luck with it. I've never tried a conversion kit. Never really considered it. But for a "play" day it would be cheaper. There you go making me think again, thanks. 😀
I had one of these years ago that would slam fire 2-3 rounds per trigger pull. It never jammed, just went into burst fire. I sent it back to them and they sent me a new one which ran perfectly. I was worried about an ATF ass fucking over an out of spec 22 conversion kit
