Ha! I bought 2 of the same muzzle brakes off ebay for 12.50 a peace, and put one on my new diamondback db ar 10 308.it went on really easy, then I tryed to put one on my ati omni hybrid 300 blackout and could not budge it at all.i took it to my brother in law and it took some time but he got it off and put it one and I shot both gun 2 days later and they both shoot like my 22 rifles hardly no recol at all from eather gun.now I've got me a savage ba 10 stealth 6.5 creedmoor with a 24 inch barrel and I'm ordering me 5 more of the same muzzle brakes from ebay and put them on my 6.5 creedmoor and I'm having my t/c dimension 300 magnum barrel fixed so it can have one threaded on it and keep the ones for other guns in the future, great muzzle brakes just try ebay or Amazon to buy them and don't get eat up by big dealers for your guns need o now one thing I for got to tell you about the muzzle brakes they make your guns about 5 times more louder so be ready to buy or put on ear plugs or head muffs!!!!!
What armorer's wrench is that?
hey guys ive found crush washers for under 3$ shipped https://www.ebay.com/itm/254346109932
This thing will knock the eye pro off the person next to you but it flattens the shot
Had this on my Taran tactical Ar and had to change it out didn’t like the back pressure coming off the Ar . Switched to the adjustable . THE ANSWER muzzle brake
Jerry’s muzzle device what is it considered a flash hider or compensator I’m searching for a muzzle device that’s not a flash hider
does the lock nut stress the barrel and affect accuracy, if your shooting 600 + yards?
What’s the name of that wrench?
Do you know if this brake is compatible with a .224 Valkyrie since the bullets are essentially the same diameter?
The brake is amazing. But the noise it terrible. I was in a situation where I ran 20 rounds through a rifle with this brake without ear pro. My ears rang for a week. I will never do that again. I would never run this brake on a defense rifle that I might have to use with no ear pro. Brakes magnify the sound by design as they divert gas sideways vs out the front.. Sound follows with it. It's LOUD!!!
Got 1 on a AR15 and 1 on a AR10 love them no movement on mag dumps
by the demonstrated method we are torquing steel takedown pins through the lower receiver. the upper receiver should be supported either with a barrel extension tool like the geissele reaction rod or an upper receiver vice block.
Nice video thanks for the Great info, and I personally like the standing free shooting, it is the best way to test and tutor God Bless you
Everytime i see an AR shooter not up on the charging handle, i know they are not military trained. At least Army wise. Maybe the Navy teaches to pull your head back.
i bought that same muzzle break
for my Juggernaught JT15 . SND I WILL NOT SCREW ON
I have one on both of my ARs when you take to the indoor range everyone steps back to see what your shooting cause your the loudest one there.😎
If I had to back the break off and had the gap you showed just measure the gap put the right shim washers in to fill the gap problem solved.
I have a FN FAL someone threaded the barrel to 1/2 X 28 like an AR-15. They had something on it that looked like a beer can on sideways. This thing works fine but it is too big to be practical. I need a muzzle brake that I can put on this FAL since I can't use a standard FAL flash hider. I got a bunch of AR-15 bird cage flash hiders for 5>56 we your product work for me.
Are any of those baffles pointing backwards on that thing?
Hey guys can i ask if i attach this muzzle brake like in video does that gap between barrel and screw before compensator affects accuracy ? And second question if all threads on muzzle brake are not connected to barrel is it ok that there are treads after the rofles barre and bullet flies trough them before gases are disperced by muzzle brake? Im shooting haenel 300 win mag sorry for my english
Dont shoot one inside. You'll be deaf. Im taking one off right now.
Great video guys, thanks! One question! What is the brand of rear sight you are using on the AR platform, during live fire demo?
How do the two parts not spin in unison without some type of threadlocker? I tried this and the two just spun in unison.
EYES and ears boys, EYES and ears.
do you still need a crush washer?
Ive been using this brake for about five years now, I love it but my friends hate it hahaha everyone learns to stand back when I whip out my rifle.
So, you do know that by not "clocking" Jerry's brake you are defeating the primary reason he designed it? I have one, and it's clocked specifically for me, meaning the muzzle doesn't jump to the right at all. I made this comment before the shooting so I'll wait and see…
Okay, it doesn't seem to make much difference. At least how you two shoot… It does for me. When I sight in my ATN scope my kids bought for me last month I'll also watch the muzzle rise closer.
Good video gentlemen.
Gotta put them on my ARs because Cali law wants no A2 flash bird cage, Ok no prob, I like these better anyway😊
You need tactical glasses, tactical hearing protection, tactical finger placement, tactical shims, tactical wrench, tactical vise, tactical tacticians technically tactifying you…
It looks very similar to Armalites design of about 20 or more years ago.
side hole are perpedicular not at an angle? i see a lot like that on ebay…..since the look the same the performance should be the same?
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to film this.I have an 18-inch stainless steel 5.56 Wylde barrel. Is it better to use a stainless steel compensator on a stainless steel barrel? Or is it a
non-issue to put a non-stainless comp on a stainless barrel? The metal expands at different rates when heated up after lots of rounds. That's why Im asking.
Eye protection and trigger discipline.
this is not rocket scientist haha. You proved that!!!
Lousy unit, just use a new crush washer.
The washers do not come off like that!
My goodness, u can clearly tell the difference in the video. Any doubt has left and ordering one.
Where can u buy this at?
Holy crap guys, Jerry owes you some ad money hands down haha… other than the trigger finger, and flying brass, nothing else moved while using his comp. Hoping for a .308 to be around by now! Need like two at least haha 🙂 Thanks a lot for the video and may you have a great day folks!
I believe its called a compensator
I'm not impressed with the lack of safety. Take the darn finger off the trigger if your not about to fire it.
Maybe it should come with different thickness shims for easier alignment.
