Thanks for the information. I assembled a Palmetto 16" 1-7". My budget allowed a 3×9 Leupold. I have reloaded but not for my AR as yet. I definitely want to see about your reloads. I was hitting out to over 200 yards which is the farthest I have had a chance to fire. The 12 steel could be hit always. I feel that is not much compared to many others, it is just my start. I was using 69gr Freedom Munitions ammo which gave me about 1 MOA at 100 yds. It seemed to do the best. I was impressed when at long range (230 yds), a 55 gr would hit as well. That gives me such confidence in the .223 Rem. I have more to shoot. I shall view your other work.

I know how to set up a bolt action rifle for Long Range shooting, but how would you set up your scope height on an AR for long range getting the measurement for bore height to scope? For when I use StrelokPro app
Some information: You mentioned a sock and beans for the stock, you can also use soft air BB extremely light and works good. Just sharing. Again thanks for your video, they seem to have a common man reality.

thats the accuracy you get with factory ammo out of that thing???? christ the 10.5 ar i built from the ground up shoots better then almost all of those groups besides your last 2 sheets with steel case. good vid though 👍

That barrel profile is A2, not M4. Either way, both are the wrong choice for long range. It should be heavier at the base than the muzzle. Midweight barrel that is ~.800 under the handguard will be much more accurate.

Thanks for the vid ! What name brand barrell are you using ? I just built upper using a 20" AR stoner barrel with Anderson's upper receiver and 15" key-mode handguard. Wanting to start reloading when budget allows.
Great video! I've seen similar results with the AE and PMC 55 gr. FMJ ammo. Basically goes bang and gives me some brass to reload. I like the quick detach brass catcher, but I wish Caldwell would use more heat resistant material for the mesh. See my FAIL video here:
