my opinion on a couple upgrades that are essential on any AR-15, these upgrades are performed on my current Patrol Rifle, the Ruger AR 556.

Reducing brass noise. Dude the brass noise is not louder than the sound of a bullet popping.
You do not have to stake the castle nut! If you tighten to spec it will never come loose.
Garbage gun
Awesomw modifications! What is the length of your Magpul handguard forend?
Are you clearing houses in Fallujah????
Silent Sling??????😂😂😂😂
Gimme a break
Are you sure you should own that Rifle? …..Are you gonna fire a round ,..clean it, ….fire a round ,..clean it, ….pretty anal joe.
If you stake the castle nut you wont be able to get it off again !
May i ask if how much is the standard ruger 556 just the standard no modifications??
Good video, I'm actually gonna purchase a piece of material from Talon grips and put a little piece on my shell deflector, just because even though it's a tool, I like to keep my tools in good condition. My guns aren't safe queens but I do like to keep 'em looking good. A big part of my obsession with guns is aesthetic reasons. I love and admire their looks, the styling and engineering that went into producing them. I guess I just take care of my stuff.
Have you ordered the dual cupholder attachment for the hand guard yet?
Electrical tape on the brass deflector to reduce noise… Like the sound of the shot itself isn't loud enough lol
Why the fuck are you recording a video with a loaded gun? See, things like this should be grounds for taking someones gun rights away. Practice proper gun safety!
I did the same thing with the electrical tape. Keeps the brass from scratch the deflector.
Charging handle replacement? The only time you use it is to chamber the first round. It's not an issue! What a waste of $$$. And electrical tape on the brass deflector? How about the poor coating on the barrel? I've scratched my barrel up plenty just by brush or tree branches rubbing against it. Looks don't matter to a weapon unless you plan on keeping it under glass in a showcase. It's a field weapon amde to be used. It's going to get marred and scarred and scratched and dinged and dented. This gun is never going to have a big resale value. It's cheap. That's why we all bought it. So long as it shoots true and is reliable is all I care about. You sound like a woman afraid to go out in public without make-up. "Ooh, my appearance is everything."
I installed a free floating barrel with a TRS-25 red got, I really need backup sights and that ambi charging handle
Ahh ah ahh also ahh ah
Thank you
Which tool is used in staking the castle nut?
My AR556 is set up very similar to yours. Great rifle!
What kind of stupid justification is "making your brass quieter"? The bolt alone makes way more noise… Not to mention… Oh idk… The fucking report? Lol. So dumb.
I’m no expert on AR’s but these are by far the worst “upgrades” I’ve ever heard of for an AR. I want 5:48 of my life back
Or you could have spent the same amount of money on a custom rifle or built it from scratch, for the same price.
Or you could cover it in tape and never take it out of the case, and it will never get dirty or scratched.
wanting to get a new hand guard, that is the mag pull moe sl correct? was it a direct fit or need modifying?
Do you have any idea if I could mount tritium night sights on this rifle?
quick question are you able to replace the barrel and not have the front post and just have flip up iron sights ?
I noticed when I shot my Ruger 556 the first time that brass rubs off on the finish of the deflector. I've found that a bit of gun oil takes it off, and it ecourages cases to just slide off. On a side note, imo, steel cases are more likely to damage the metal of the deflector because it's harder than the aluminum under the finish. I stick with brass when I shoot, cuz steel on steel w/o lubrication in any form just sounds horrible to me, lol.
Take the tape off the deflector…your rifle is a tool. Be proud of the wear and tear it receives from being used.
how well does the eotech 512 fit on a set up like this? will I still have room for a magpul BUS?
quick tips
Thanks for sharing. No sir, I think the electrical tape in both places is a good poor mans fix !!
JMO …but I like it
God Bless
Thumbs up.
64 dislikes for taped brass deflector hahaha. haters
Great review! Thanks for sharing this…
If you scratch it then people will ridicule the lack of perfection, forcing you to replace the whole rifle to maintain your standing amongst the tacticool. And who wants to keep buying all kinds of rifles, and stuff? A little piece of tape is a small price to pay, and an economical means of cosmetic preventive maintenance.
I just drop all my new guns on the ground and bear the shame. Who needs friends, anyway?
it's a gun shoot it all these things are useless practice is useful
I think people make this simple shit way to complicated
if you want to be really quite and ninja like, use Gallium to lube your rifle.
put tape on your brass defector to reduce noise lol…cause the round being fired is so quite lmao
wow how gay
I ALWAYS wrap my ENTIRE rifle in electrical tape. So dont let me SCARE ANYONE but Im fkn badassed silent and deadly. Dont be too jealous ya fkn trollls HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
I just put one on a few hours ago and those moe sl handgaurds are an absolute fucking bitch to get on the rifle like holy shit it's hard to describe truly how painful it was
First Adjustment is for you to purchase and then use an external microphone. Your audio is way too low! Quality Control~!
If sights fail ,brake ,come off etc. , the rifle will still fire, function…it would not be rendered useless
Why not just build a AR if you're going to change all of the stock parts?
