The Law Tactical Gen 3-M Folding Stock Adapter has become an extremely popular accessory on AR-15 carbines and SBRs. It’s an elegantly simple means to getting a folding stock on your AR without impairing operation of the gun’s buffer system. But there’s a weird rumor out on the Interwebs that you can’t use the Law Folder on a 9mm-chambered, blowback-operated AR-15. NOT TRUE! You just need to remove the weight in the rear of the 9mm bolt / carrier assembly and replace it with the little plug that’s part of the Law Tactical system. It’s a simple task. Brownells Gun Tech Steve Ostrem shows us how it’s done.

The silent capture system requires an open channel in the bolt.if the plug for the folder goes in that channel I don't see how the jp silent capture would work with this .am I missing something
The adapter becomes the weight.
Uh… you said a weight to balance the system… if thats the case, shouldnt it stay?? Or add a weighted buffer?
So youre just gonna ignore the fact that you altered the weight? And make no mention to customers… hmmm
That BCG is gonna eat its self alive, slamming into the buffer/Barrel ext.
Does the law spacer weigh the same amount as the original bolt carrier weight? Just curious if this would affect the cycling reliability.
Is the weight of the plug similar to that of the 9mm weight, or would a heavier buffer be recommended? Or would it really not cause any problems at all?
