you can chose to have or not have sights, so you can cut cost on your rifle and customize it ,by putting your own choice of sights on your rifle.
BTW did you buy that new or used? Reason I am asking is because your rifle has the older rail system on it.
When I opened my case the rifle was in a thick, translucent, plastic bag. It was SOAKED in what appeared to be WD-40 both inside and outside. The Magpul PMAG was in its original sealed bag. Description and inspection tags were ziptied to the trigger guard. Instruction manual was just lying there. Great freaking rifles if I may say. I have the M4V4.
