Certain members in government tell us that nobody needs an AR-15. That is the #1 reason why I need one.
You say "AR-15s are not fully automatic, AR-15s and their variants are semi-automatic." To my knowledge (which is based completely off information from various online resources, I have never even held an AR-15 style rifle), the AR-15 and subsequently, the M16 and M4 etc. are very much automatic rifles. I believe what you mean are the civilian models based on the AR-15 platform. So I find that statement very misleading. It's like saying "knives have blunt tips". There are those that do and those that do not.

You need an AR-15 because the liberals refuse to help build and complete the Wall, and through the holes in the wall come the ISIS muslims. and also because of the sleeper cells in Dearborn,MI. and MN. as reports say.

I know a person who wants to ban all semi automatic rifles but banning semiautomatic pistols they argue would be a violation of constitutional rights…they want us to hunt deer and fend off bears with pistols.
Unpopular opinion: I'm just glad I'm not living in the US, so I don't have the need to own a rifle, be it my right or not.
