I just bought a Crossfire II and I am going to put it on a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, which rings do you suggest?

I have a Remington ADL 308 26 inch barrel and I am gonna put a 6x25x50 tactical vortex what mounts would you recommend

For a Ruger American chambered in.308 with a Vortex Viper PST II 5-25×50 first focal plane scope are the low rings too low to clear the defender flip caps and the bolt action handle? I'll be using the EGW picatinny rail. Any thoughts on EGW HD rail (.35" high) verses standard rail (.40" high)? Also, vortex precision match or pro rings?

When mounting a Strike Eagle 1-8 on a flat top modular sporting rifle, would you recommend a cantilever mount with 0 MOA or 20 MOA?

Does vortex or anyone else make a steel scope I’m not impressed with the durability of today’s modern rifle scope . I’ve mounted scopes myself for 30 years or so now with today’s delicate aluminum tubes all the sudden I need a torque wrench to avoid damaging the optic . It seems to me that is a design flaw ?

I bought a crossfire ll 4-12×50 scope ….and got VPR-1H High mounts not knowing scopes had specific mounts for specific models. I got them because i liked them ….rifle is a win M70 30-06….. Question is…will that affect performance ? I doubt it will but id like to make sure before i sight it in …Thanks in advance …

What's the difference between a standard cantilever mount and 20 moa cantiliver mount? I'm looking at putting the Viper PST Gen II First Focal Plane EBR 2C MRAD on my MSR 10 long range? Which mount would you recommend? I would also prefer QD but not a definite. Just looking for a good mount to go with a good scope.

Appears there is a discussion on a forum, Vertical rings vs horizontal.
Can you provide any feedback on this?
Apparently they found issues with vertical rings or quick release mounts with Vertical ring mounts.

Love vortex. One issue. On my AR I have a crossfire 3-9×40 scope, and the cantilever mounts with 2" offset. Wne I go to boresight, its so low, it maxxes the elevation out before I can even go to the range and hit paper. Am I doing something wrong? My optic lands pretty much even with the charging handle, my rifle is a Ruger SR-556. Hope you can help, im hoping I dont have to buy another set of rings…
