All it took was two days for the New Zealand communist Prime Minister to ban all semi auto rifles, democracy died, so guard yourself and your rights, my AR15 will be crushed
it looks like every rifle used in these competitions is illegal in my state….
Perfect example of an instructional video. But when Chris talked about himself in the third person, uh? However I still commend him on his professionalism.
How will 501 effect 3 gun
Thank you
Wasn't he on top shot?
Do you have to have a special belt or can you use webbing
I guess I just need to finish my AR build then buy a shotty
hey everyone, do 3 gun to get proficient in you gun handling skills, if you do what these "gamers" do, you be spending a lot of money. compete against yourself. take your time and have fun. a lot of 3 gun and even idpa anymore, are not realistic shooting scenarios. there are no rules in a gun fight…..
Im surprised they can still do this in Bolshevik run Oregon!
I know this vid is 3 years old but I'm just dying fn to very into this kind of thing. Does anyone have any advise for me to do that??
What is needed is a mountain bike course, with 3d targets. You carry all your ammo and guns and you shoot while peddling the course. So many shooters are out of shape they need a little exercise while engaging in the sport.
This sport is hilarious. All that is needed is after you shoot all the bullets, you have to pull out a 3 set darts and hit balloons at 20 meters. Ammo companies love this sport. Or better yet, you have to roll a ball an hit some duck pins at 50 yards. How about 10 gun. Yea, bring every gun you own and you have to shoot 10 rounds out of every firearm. MIx it up. Knife throwing, arrow shooting, then to top it off you have to rope a steer.
Please don't call 3-gun firearms "Weapons". A weapon is to be used to hurt or kill someone. Nobody gets physically hurt or killed at 3-gun matches.
What's next ? Skeet shooters calling their over-under a "Weapon"?
I have all three guns, but I suck😂 can't even fast load shotgun. If I go to a match I will spend all my time on reloading shotgun😂😂😂
can people use a tactical vest or battle belt (molle) instead of one of those belts? Or are there specific requirements for holding mags/shells?
i only have 2 guns
could you use a slug gun as a rifle
Hey guys, I'm 16 and plan on doing 3gun, I have a few questions, where do I find matches and is am I old enough to do 3gun?
Do you NEED an AR for 3 gun? I almost only see AR's, I was curious if it's a rule that you need to use an AR?
This is a little discouraging. I have a regular Colt AR with iron sights, a Remington Express 870 and a pretty decent Colt 1911. Through this video, I learned I can't compete. I truly wish there were a competition for regular folks.
What stock is on the ar?
Great giveaway Jerry please count me in
what would be a good scope for the carbine/ar? Something more like a red dot Vortex Strike Fire II? Or would a Vortex PST 1-4 scope be better?
The 3-gun shotgun is possibly the most useless tool going.
You really
Just need to build a good AR platform for CQB/Mid range that's smooth and accurate, next you need a fast shotgun semi auto not a pump (at least not if you want to win), second a fast smooth accurate pistol like a Colt gold cup trophy with some custom work. For a good setup your looking at a bare minimum of about 5k for the weapon systems and that's not including optics which will be about a grand for rifle optics and a few hundred for the other two. Then depending on what they allow you will need either factory match ammo or special purpose reloads so theirs another 2k for reloading equipment but that will pay for itself when loading mass amounts of practice ammo. Then all you need is range and trigger time and I mean a lot of it.
Getting into three gun is as expensive as you want to make it. It can be done for under $1000 or for a LOT more. Picking up golf isn't any cheaper and not near as much fun, IMHO.
I'd really really REALLY love to get into 3 gun shooting but it's so expensive 🙁 Maybe after I get out of school I can start up haha
Good Video. I have my UTS Shotgun with Crimson Trace still in the box. Love to use that one. So far I have about $12,000 dollars in firearms & gear I would love to use on this .
Chris was on my squad at this Crimson Trace match. He's a good guy. Had fun shooting with him.
spot on…
OORAH!
Good video, great advice
