Since this ISNT a review… maybe I can help:
The build quality/fit and finish is good, optical coatings are of good quality. Sharp field of view to the edge.
However, they are heavier than most 7x50s in this price range – 900g, whereas most others are 750-800g, making them a little more taxing to hold for long periods of time.
Small field of view – only 6.4 degrees! I recommend the Nikon Aculon 7x35s, which have a 9.3 degree field of view – same mag., but much much wider! They are also cheaper, and lighter to hold.
HOW TO WASTE 1:44 SECONDS OF YOUR LIFE….just watch this video.
NIce try, but on this and your other video about the other Aculon binos you make the same mistake, describing these as having variable magnification. PLEASE, learn a bit about a product before pretending to actually do a worthwhile review. In both videos, you are obviously reading off a script. A good review is done by someone who can extemporaneously and with first hand knowlege (better yet, expertise) speak about the item. The problem here is…. you know nothing about binoculars, and never use them. If you did you wouldn't make the mistakes you are making here in these videos. Go out in the field, actually use them for in several different settings, over several days – in a gym at a baskeball game, outdoors looking at birds, and at night, looking at the stars. Then come back and tell us what you think. That will get you a five-star thumbs up, because that is the kind of review we are looking for.
He is too pretty to know what he's talking about.
Get someone who actually knows what they are talking about to do these videos please. You cannot turn the centre knob to adjust the magnification and zoom in upto 7x. It is a fixed magnification of 7x.the middle knob just focuses the image. Idiot.
It's not a review – It's a description
Nikon specs say "multicoated" on all their aculons. He says they are "fully multicoated". Can someone confirm
The dude is focusing, not zooming. 7×50 binoculars stay at 7x, they do not zoom. Methinks this guy is just reading the back of the wrong box.
I thought it's a fixed zoom, but review says allows "up to 7x magnification". Not correct. bad review
