I made a video on how to install the Troy TRX Battlerail on my AR15. This method would work for any type of rail where you would need to change out the gas block. On my S&W AR I had just put a carbine length quad rail on, which was much easier than doing something like this. Hopefully this can help some of you out.

Would it be totally wrong to put an end cap on the rail?
Nice build. Kind of surprised you run your dot so far back, but to each their own. Thanks for the vid. It's helping me decide between the TRX and the Alpha for my DMR build.
Never had a problem and I had about 3000 rounds through the rifle. I just got a New Frontier and OMNI lower to continue the poly lower testing. I think theyre great. The accutrigger that was in the plum crazy lower was the best AR trigger Ive shot. I have a rock river trigger now in my Wilson Combat AR and its good but not as good
It wasnt "quieter" but it significantly reduced recoil. That and the UTG heavy recoil reducing buffer I used. Check out my video shooting it – watch?v=w2NnfDx_dSo
Good video. Was that muzzle break quieter for the shooter? Thanks
Did the mini gas block come with the rail kit?
This is the older model yea? The new ones use a standard barrel nut right?
Its a Carbine length
is that a carbine or a mid length AR?
That muzzle break is awesome!
Thanks!
