Happy to see you're out of the Y.T. penalty box! I'm going on vacation mid-week to central UT (above Fairview), and I'll have some footage of that. Hoping UJ will be stopping by, but either way, going to get some soothing outdoor time in. Look for some dielectric anti-corrosion grease to put on those contacts, Brother. I'm sure some of your professional people you work with would know about it. Good repair. Hope you get many more years of use out of the EoTech. Good optic, even though it's way out of my budget.
Corrosion block they sell it on Amazon it's $20 and some change per can. It's not cheap but it works absolutely beyond belief. We use it on my uncle sailboat and his Hatteras and coat the Gel cell terminals with it and their in salt air 24/7 for the last 10 years and still have not corroded. Stuff is designed for extreme Corrosion Protection spray of light coat on it the surface that you're trying to protect and forget about it. Hope it helps brother do you have an email that you use for YouTube? If so can you leave it for me? the military uses it to protect circuit boards aboard their ships. They spray an entire green boards down chips and all with it and hook it up to keep them from corroding. Hope it helps let me know.
Taco try using a spray called corrosion block it's a highly concentrated aerosol can that we use here in Florida on our battery terminals and on our offshore boats. It absolutely kills corrosion on contact but it is not cheap. Try some of that on your terminals it will absolutely eliminate batteries from corroding them. Nice to have you back. Hope this helps prevent this from happening in the future.

DeoxIT® is also a good option; it's the CLP for electrical contacts!
