Full review of the Streamlight ProTac 90 300 lumen flashlight that takes CR123A or AA batteries. We do some drop tests, do a beam comparison, go over the features of the light, and discuss what I think of it overall.

  1. Only Michael can pack this much pertinent information into such a short, yet interesting, flashlight review. Which kind of sucks sometimes because I already have way too many flashlights due to his reviews.

  2. I carried the one L1-1AA for a long time at work because we stock AAbatteries. I now carry a 2LX with rechargeable 18650s, but I still carry its little brother at home and when I’m not at work. This flashlight is a 2nd version of the 1L-1AA and actually has a lower output, 300 versus 350 and 150 versus 125, but it’s still bright enough and you have longer run times. I want one!

  3. Can we get some support from the big YouTube channels fighting I 1639? Why is it we can all buy 10 handguns and flashlights, but the thought of fighting Bloomberg and saving our rights is not "cool". I'm seeing the true channels I want to watch and support. The list is shrinking quickly.

  4. I wonder how true the stats are accurate? "Right Angle Everyday Carry Tactical Flashlight

    Battery & Run Time:

Accepts a CR123A lithium, single AA lithium, or single AA alkaline battery. LED solid state power regulation provides maximum light output throughout battery life.

    CR123A – High 1 hour 45 minutes, Low 14 hours, Strobe 2.5 hours.

AA Alkaline – High 2 hour 45 minutes, Low 8 hours 15 minutes, Strobe 3.5 hours.

AA Lithium – High 5 hours 30 minutes, Low 15 hours, Strobe 8 hours."

  5. Have owned & used daily their ProTac 1L which can use both a CR123 & AA batteries. During an unplanned 6 day trip with only time to pack a few tools needed & not much more than taking "clothes on my back" battery in light died one night. Discovered that the AAA batteries I found nearby will also power these "duel power" Streamlights. You might find you can also put AAA batteries into this new model since it has the spring to use both CR123 & AA. Don't recommend AAA for daily use but they'll work in an emergency when other batteries aren't immediately available

  6. The intro for this would have been perfect…IF it was more like the gun review intros. Just picture it – Mr. G&G rapid flashing the light from various positions, prone, shining while moving, etc. 🙂

  7. We need to stop this anti-gun legislation please spread the word and help stop it nevada sb143 please also help spread it to all gun channels and social media

  8. I cannot get enough of the ProTac series of lights. I seem to have one in every drawer around the house. Lately, it’s been the 1L-1AA. This might be added to the rotation.
