  1. I am dissapointed that this sensor is only 16mp just like the p900. I am also disappointed the sensor is not larger. I would rather have the Sony RX10 mkiv for the better images and low light photography.

  2. I got my P1000 in September and I love it. However, I ordered the Bluetooth remote in August and I'm STILL waiting for it. Nikon keeps saying it's on back order and yet ALMOST all the P1000 accessories have been on back order for months with no explanation from Nikon. Shame on Nikon.

  3. You are absolutely right with the video. I have the NIKON P900 for 3 years and am absolutely convinced of the camera – then I had the P1000 for a weekend test at my home. It is amazing !! Far distance shooting with the P900 are already very extreme, but the P1000 beats everything that I have recorded so far! Photographing birds that are 200 to 300 meters away (sorry, I'm from Germany) – a breeze. Video footage of the moon? Absolutely easy and breathtaking! Definitely the P1000 is on my wish list for 2019 !! Nice greetings from Germany 🙂

  4. Half the zoom reach and a sensor with twice as much active area would have been much better. The image-quality would have been considerably improved and who wouldn't be satisfied with 1,500mm of focal-length?

  5. Use this p1000 with an infrared lens… cut through the haze… go to a lake, the bigger the better…go to peninsula… the bigger the better… See how far in miles, in some instances well over a hundred fifty miles, that you can see but should not be able to. Utilize the technical advancements in camera photography. You will be amazed you will be awestruck. You will realize that you have been lied to by The Rotten people controlling Our Lives more specifically controlling your life.

  6. Hey Nikon, do you happen to know which tripod is used in the video. It has a big base plate which I think is required in this camera to relieve tension in the mounting bracket. Thanks.

  7. I saw this on DPreview as a headline post, but it didn't interest me in the slightest, as it was a Coolpix, a tooI didn't think I needed. After seeing an ad on Instagram, I saw this. Holy moly! I think I might get one! Lol

  8. It's cool if you want to carry a tripod with you everywhere you go. Unless you have the hands of a doctor, camera shake is going to be stupid difficult to deal with, vr or not.

  9. I like these videos!but I am never going to buy a system camera ever!only Full frame works for me and my taste in pictures!D750 is my camera right now but in 6 months its going to be sold for a D850!
