  1. Think I may have mentioned it to you before but I’m building a 6.5 Creedmoor handgun now and hopefully I will have it ready in a few weeks to start testing it at the range. Waiting on a couple more parts at the moment.

  2. Your going to be amazed at what you can actually see with a quality scope lol 😂 get a journal and keep track of your shots, ammo and distance. You will find a certain ammo it loves then stick to it if want to shoot long distance. Then you can have your info with you for dialing a shot in on the scope. The Balistic calculator will get you in the neighborhood but to fine tune it you have to shoot shoot and keep a log of your scope settings. A lot of higher end scopes you can get custom turrets made for your ammo and ranges your shooting but you have to do the “homework”

  3. I love Nikon, its the only scope I have on any of my rifles & even my slug gun. It has the Nikon omega. Super good brand. Also you should check the scope to see if you need to move it forward or back for good focus before tightening it down.

  4. WTW amazing gun work. I am a fan of old fashioned side by side shot guns. Here's my dilemma. I love the old style hammered guns but the hammerless ones make me uneasy for safety reasons and I there are those that say the same about the exposed hammer models too. Could you please possibly do a video on this subject? Thank you so much!!!

  5. My post just disappeared. LOL! Oh well. Enjoy that setup brother. I'm getting my shotgun and going to the back yard. Time to full the freezer with some of these flying pigs. LOL!

  6. WHO_TEE_WHO, sometime if you can, try out a SunOptics Hunter Plus II 2.5x20mm scope. I feel they are overlooked and very high value. Lifetime warranty, glass etched reticle, and very affordable. They are also supposed to be made in same place as some of the Vortex scopes and their reticle looks pretty much like the Vortex BDC. Check them out.

  7. Those vertically-split rings aren't the easiest to install, but they will be ROCK SOLID and apply force evenly around the tube instead of just smashing down on the top and bottom like horizontal rings.

  8. Just because I haven't seen it mentioned below, 25 inch-pounds is a load of 25 pounds applied to a 1 inch long lever, like the short end of an Allen wrench. Torque multiplies and increases quickly. For example, 25 pounds applied to a 2 inch long lever is 50 inch-pounds. PLEASE don't anyone confuse foot-pounds and inch-pounds. You'll be off by a factor of 12. 25 foot-pounds on scope screws will either break the screws or crush the scope.
