Just bought one of these, after 5 rounds dot disappears then needs a reset on brightness to come back. Not impressed.
I got one for $70 and $10 for the lower utg rise to line it up with my back up sights. I am happy with this red dot. I was going to buy the aimpoint, but the reviews were so good I figured I would try this first. I'm happy with it, only wish it was a little brighter for sunny days.. Over all, I'm happy I tried this before the aimpoint.

HI, it's June 17/15 and I just received mine in yesterday's mail from Amazon.CA Canadian) It IS a great little red dot sight, just like you and everybody else said it would be. However I checked this unit out very thoroughly, and I bought the Leapers/UTG Hi Rise mount for two main reasons. 1. This UTG mount has a 'see through' base', and 2. The tightening clamp runs full length of it and is spring loaded, so I thought this would give a more solid attachment to my rail.(( A side note, don't dismiss off hand, these Leapers/UTG products because they don't have a high price, they are really well made products; good products do not always have to be expensive.))
I guess by now, you're discovered that the front lens is tilted back like that so that the red dot system' will work. This fact is described in the handbook that comes with this Sight.
So I would recommend too, that anybody else wondering about this Sight for their firearm, to not hesitate,.go right ahead and buy this Trophy TRS-25 Bushnell Red Dot Sight. you will not be disappointed.
Great review. Does that mount give you absolute co witness or lower 1/3 co witness?
The one branded ar optics that comes with the riser has the emitter at the 6 o'clock portion of the tube. as to the trophy version with the gold writing has it at the 4 o'clock position.. The one you have is the newest version..

I have two of these optics. One on my 15-22 and the other on my Baretta CX4 Storm Carbine. The one on my CX4 is the new one with the riser. The older ones are much better made. I would not use either on a rifle that I would be using to defend my life. I would spend a few more bucks and get a Vortex Sparc or Strike Fire.
the lens is tilted for a reason. Its like that to project the dot.
I believe the front lens is slanted to reflect the red dot back onto the back lens. I am not sure though. Good video.
Would it shoot fine out of the box? I meant would it be accurate of would it have to be zero?

My I ask what is the measurements of the riser for co-witnessing with a standard A2 front sights and an MBUS Magpul rear sights?

I spent the money on an eotech thinking I needed it when it came down to it I didn't . I traded it off for a few custom kydex holsters for my glocks and took the trs 25 off my ak and put it on my AR and I was extremely pleased with it . 100 bucks best optic there is hands down !
