I am switching the bolts from the qrc to the patrolmans carbine so it’s no big deal but people should be able to examine a firearm they’re about to purchase.

Do u need a gun permit to buy this?
I don't know the exact model number of your rifle, but all the "patrolman" series rifles I see on their website specifically say they come with the m16 bolt carrier. The QRC does not specify this in the advertising. However I just bought one and it does have the m16 bolt in it. I suggest calling bushmaster and asking them about it if you are that concerned with it. That being said, other than not getting what you paid for it isn't a huge issue. Unless you plan on putting it on a full auto lower at some point. The AR15 bolt is plenty strong enough, it just won't engage a full auto sear is all.
As for not being able to check it, welcome to chain store policies. I would say I wouldn't have bothered asking, I would have just done it when they showed me the rifle. Except you were probably in the same boat I was in and the stupid cable lock was running through the lower and upper and you might not have been able to check it. If it is that big of an issue purchase at an actual gun store that would have let you check, or checked for you before you paid for it. But again, the gun shipped that way from bushmaster so I would contact them and let them know. If you paid for the m16 bolt you should have gotten it.
Great video thanks for showing the difference in the bolts
why do you need an ar15?
No politics or opinion, just curious.
