  1. Have you tried adding the BCM KMR? Even the alpha rail (full aluminum) is lighter than anything SLR offers, even over the Helix keymod series. Also try going with a 12 or 13 inch rail. From your positioning on that finger stop you could shave off an ounce or two with a shorter rail.

  2. All those expensive parts, and it ends up being heavier than a regular 16" AR with a pencil barrel. Put a pencil barrel in there! You can probably save a pound.

  3. Which SLR Adjustable Gas Block Century 6 Series version did you install on the rifle? There are several.  Planning a similar build.  Enjoy all of your videos!!

  4. Just finished making changes to mine. I'm not to concerned about weight just love the aesthetics. I pretty much went with the same setup as you did but went with a 14.5 in. barrel and 12 inch fortis night rail. For the optic I got the trijicon mro. Also went with the bad pdw vert stock as I may be converting to sbr.

  5. Did you ever do an accuracy test on the battle arms barrel? Very curious to see if it gets 1 moa at 100 yrds. Especially for the price for that barrel I would hope they do.

  6. Very nice. Why didn't you go with a pencil barrel? or 14.5" barrel? That battle arms barrel is not heavy by any means but a faxon 14.5" pencil barrel weighs just a hair over 1lb. Much lighter.
