Magpul Moe Fixed Carbine Stock

If Magpul ever makes a monolithic, polymer lower, I hope they give it this style of fixed triangle stock.

Good review but the KEY thing was left out. What is the closest length comparison to a collapsing Magpul stock? I've heard position 3 or 4…

Sootch<can I use this stock on a pistol buffer tube that is round,doesnt have the ridge on the bottom?

I saw another video on YouTube where the user cut a notch in the rails on the bottom of the buffer tube at the length he wanted just large enough for the screw to slide through (to prevent movement). You would then just push the screw through the notch instead of in front of the rails to get your desired LOP.

They really need to make rifle length ones with this style; not fan of the weight of the PRS and the looks and function of their other rifle length stock. Doing a rifle length version in this style would give you the fine elevation adjustment with a rear back similar to a bolt gun. It would compete with Hogue's A2/M16 overmolded fixed rifle length stock.

Magpul is such bull shit only because they want you to spend more money on a damn qd sling mount when there is already a hole there and they could have just made it a qd sling mount . So annoying

Collapsible stocks are about as useless as a carbine length gas system on a 16" barrel..

I am over six feet and this made my AR feel like a small BB gun.

Im totally dumbfounded on what Im doing wrong and not particularly fond on the idea of returning my parts…but I just built an AR15 lower (spikes tactical) and using a new CMMG receiver extension kit [buffer tube] (as far as I know, the CMMG tube is definitely mil spec). I then took my mil spec magpul fixed stock and tried to slip on that stock to my extension tube…the screw holes on BOTH magpul fixed-stock adapters are cut off by the buffer tube's lower adjustment/positional tab area (the lower area of the buffer tube where it slants). Not sure if Im describing this well enough…but long story short, I cant get the screw for my magpul fixed stock to go through to the other side of the fixed stock, because the lower part of my buffer tube is blocking the screw where its supposed to insert thru the fixed stock. I really dont think I screwed in my buffer tube too far either, its perfectly holding the tube retention pin in place. I compared my CMMG buffer tube to my Colt M4's buffer tube and they look identical EXCEPT for the lower part of the buffer tube where the adjustment notches are…the "lower slant" of the CMMG buffer tube looks slightly beefier than the Colt M4 buffer tube. Very frustrated. Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you in advance! P.S.- The box of my magpul fixed carbine stock has a sticker on it that has the UPC and shows mil spec…but Im wondering if I got the commercial stock in the box instead of the milspec maybe? Aside from the stocks mounting screw it fits great on my buffer tube…so anyone know if the magpul fixed stock itself should have an icon or wording that states whether or not its mil spec or commercial so I dont have to guess that the magpul box has the right parts in it? (ordered from optics planet) Thanks again!

Nice video as always. Just picked up Moe Fixed stock as well due to California law that needs a fixed stock among other things to be California compliant, this state is going down the drain😕

Id like to point out if you dont know, anderson lowers take a 3/4 grip bolt. They wont take a 1 inch. They do it for a reason its not a blem or unfinished.

I live in Massachusetts and here we are not allowed to have a telescoping stock on our ar15 rifles. the sad thing is that all rifles being sold are pretty much with a telescoping stock pinned at its full length. so I just ordered this stock to put on my Windham mpc, I already have a lot of magpul furniture on there so it will work great. I like that it fits right on my existing buffer tube and shortens up the length of pull, can't wait to get it!

Great video. Wonder why Magpul didn't make the stock 1 inch longer. I bought one anyways for my next build.
