i have a question. i have a stripped ar lower left over from my last build. from what i understand, any upper you buy shorter than 16" needs a tax stamp right? How do i declare that im going to build an ar pistol so i dont have to pay tax stamp?

JOHNFMKN You should have listed parts numbers or expired ebay items. I found most of the parts you listed, but I'm having a hard time finding some such as the buffer tubes and stuff. Still, a good video, and "relatively" close to $5oo.
I bought my radical firearms 10.5 inch barrel AR pistol for a hair over 500, brand new not on sale just regular price for them from my local gun store.
You never said anything about sales tax and DROS fees, so it's not a $500.00 pistol

Every one of these videos I've clicked on includes "I had this laying around" or "I got this from a buddy" and also ignores shipping and other fees.
Why can't we just give a true dollar figure?
These can be built for around 6 to 800. That's reality.
You forgot FFL fee, shipping, and a charging handle.
I don't believe you built this for under 500, I've built many rifles and I can see getting some palmetto state armory stuff at around 500, but I've built two ar pistols and went as budget as possible and these AR pistols are just expensive to put together nature of the beast I guess. I think you said you got lower online , was there an ffl transfer fee ? Nice pistol none the less
Why is this gun called a pistol when it's a rifle? I thought only handguns could be called a pistol?

Nice build, I'm starting mine with a PSA pistol lower for $130. But you forgot to add on the flip up sights, $40 for cheapos and $60-100 for quality ones, a good flash hider (Smith Vortex is the best on the market for the price, ~$50), and if you want the Sig brace which can be found for $100 nowadays.. I'm getting the new one, the SBX for around $140.
I figured my build is going to be on the $700-800 range, even more if I take my primary arms red dot off my AK and put it on there.
