…..that e.o tech backwards?
I live in California. I don't live in a free state lol. HK MP5's are banned by name here. I can only get MP5 clones here (which I do have). The only HK MP5 style gun we can have in CA is the SP89 which I'm looking for. No one in free states wants to sell to CA.
You have to have a good job to support a hobby like this. I spend more on ammo when I go to the range than the eotech is worth lol. $300 is really cheap for an optic. I have a couple Trijicon ACOG's that's where you start spending real money on optics.
It's just an eotech. They are cheap. I got this one for $300. Iron sights do work perfectly but I rather use an eotech for quicker target acquisition. Just like how a tube tv works perfectly too but I rather watch tv on a LED.
You get what you pay for. I rather just buy a good, quality optic once than to have to buy another optic once the cheap knock off version breaks (which all cheap optics do). If you look at the mount there is not enough room for a magnifier only enough room for the sight.

@PLINKING223s I went and checked on that replacement. For some reason it's not illegal anymore. All you gotta do is go to the ATI website and put in your serial number and it'll tell you if it's on recall or not. Mine still has the fake looking suppressor. I even called them and they confirmed that it's a load of crap.

Not really. I got 4 eotechs. I just swap them from rifle to rifle. They are really easy to zero in. Usually zeroed in 6-8 shots.
@PLINKING223s But the sight costs as much as the damn rifle. Isn't that a bit ridiculous for what is supposedly a plinker gun?

@mikeg576 Yes it's a real 552. A clone should work. But then again you get what you pay for. I had a Ncstar on my 1st Gen GSG-5 and after 4 trip to the range, it stopped hold zero and I had to toss it. There's a reason why you pay more.
Are you using a real 552? I just got my GSG5 and i was thinking about a clone EOTech. I'm running a real 511 w/ Aimpoint x3 mag on my M4. i figured the clone would work ok on a .22. whats your thoughts?

Yup it sucks. Just turned in my fake can for the replacement. Hope it comes in soon.
the charging handle is on the left so you can do mag changes faster using your LEFT hand.
