FINALLY, some good advice on the placement of a scope. Far too often when someone is asked what is the best placment of a scope, the answer is "depends" (and that's it) or "what ever works for you".
Not sure why I just found this guy, but really glad I did. It's like listening to Dave Spaulding on 2X speed, sorta…
Seriously, Proctor seems to be one of those guys who makes even seasoned shooters wonder why they haven't been doing things a certain way. It's uncanny how he covers topics that I didn't know I wasn't knowledgeable about. Apparently, I didn't know what I didn't know. He is also good at simplifying stuff and explaining WHY certain techniques/equipment work better in certain conditions.
I'm a little confused, maybe someone can explain this. At 3:30, Frank talks about mount (crossbar) placement on a pic rail. He says it should be mounted forward. Shouldn't it be mounted to the rear most pic rail and not the front most? Front most would allow the crossbar to recoil and move backwards, no?
Unless he actually means the other way around and I just didn't quite catch that?
I've yet to find a scope or red dot I like. I have had several. But haven't been happy with any. I can't afford the very expensive ones. But with some investigation. I've found that the 1 to 4 x 30 or similar scopes are probably the way to go. They are able to take care of things up close and far away. One of these days I will get me one. Right now I will keep using my iron sights. I'm pretty good with them. Good video. I will definitely use your advice. Thanks.
Travis Haley is obviously an amazing firearms instructor, but with all of the crazy fancy stuff he does, I've learned more practical things from this guy, in 10 5 minute videos, than I have in a few years of watching Travis. And I admire Travis's character, so this isn't a light hearted statement.
Please can somebody representing this channel tell me if they support eotechs even after this lawsuit. I wanna know if Proctor still is an avid user despite the drama. I love my aimpoint micro but I cant help but miss having an Eotech. Should i just give up on them?

Why does Frank Proctor look so damn like Daniel Craig?!

Great info about optics. Just wish the primary camera was focused on foreground. Thanks for the info!
Can frank recommend which magnified optic he prefers?
Thank you
Frank has too much knowledge to spread, but not enough lung volume to catch up to the amount of words he needs to say.
Slow down, Frank. We're in no hurry
Nice tip about shouldering the weapon, then looking through the optic…
tweak much?

Is this guy on Meth? ABZHGTYUOPLS Got it? Tap tap tap….gun…does it work…jitter jitter jitter…see what I'm talikng about…
At 4:34 I really would have liked to see what he was talking about and demonstrating rather than watch him running through a stage.

What kind of scope is he running?
It makes me laugh that Frank is always out of focus in these videos. It doesn't even bother me, it just makes me laugh.
Good info just shows that no matter your experience you can or I can always learn something new
Fortunately those 2MOA dots don't shift 10-20MOA in certain temp conditions and whose manufacturers don't lie to their consumer base.
Is this dude using meth?

Frank is definitely one of the best instructors in the country.
Thanks Frank for explaining the difficult and making it simple.
Thanks Frank…….. This old man needs all the help he can get.
East-uh-Bo-ga / Long O sound. Not as bad as pronouncing it as East A booga 🙂
Great info, but someone did not check that camera focus!
WELL DONE FRANK!!
