This is my review of the stream light stinger Xt duty flash light. This is a great flashlight and I tell on how you should pick up this one instead of the LED version.

Streamlight chargers don't use a green light to indicate when your light is done charging. There's steady red that means it's charging. The steady red turns to a blinking red when it is done charging. Although I personally love the Stinger XT model, it is obsolete. Any flashlight that uses an incandescent bulb nowadays is incredibly obsolete.
Good news is that models like the stock XT can be given new life. A company named TerraLux makes an LED conversion for the stock Stinger XT model. A bit pricey, but worth it. TerraLux claims that output of their LED conversion kit for the XT increases output by 300 emitter lumens. (Compared to only 90 emitter lumens for the stock XT.)
The Terralux LED conversion is worth considering since it both dramatically increases output as well as runtime of the XT, while still letting you use the stock Streamlight rechargeable battery and chargers.
