A basic but good light, we take an infield look at the Patreon member provided Streamlight Jr FStop flashlight, Porker dog Sadie the Bacon dog is in attendance. She’s asleep in the tent as we do a quick features review and a beam throw test in the forest. This is a recommended simple but effective flashlight. It won’t replace my beloved Olight series, the best I’ve ever used (see below) but it’s a reliable alternative with good reviews.

  1. Hey Nutn and all, I want to point out a super affordable flashlight that I found at Harbor Freight. It is called Quantum and it is a great little edc flashlight, runs off of 2 AAA with plenty of light, long run time, solid aluminum construction. I got it for 6 bucks. So far 6 months of pocket wear, travel to Thailand jungles and back, qnd wearing it in the desert everyday at work.

  2. My First ever serious flashlight purchase was Streamlight, followed by Surefire then the addiction went from there $$$…lol. I’ve watched countless videos of yours. Could you recommend a great EDC knife with a glass breaker. I drive a lot for work and would really like a EDC knife with glass breaking tip.

  3. For years I’ve been running the 4 sevens Prion 2 for edc and their Quark AA for heavier use. Both lights after enough use have pretty much died. The Quark LED bulb I think is out and the Prion power button is very finicky.
I bought for $5 a small AAA LED light from Rural King. I had no expectations but have been highly impressed. It’s focusable, has a good clip, and 3 modes, high, low, and strobe. For $5 it’s amazing and has more lumens then the expensive 4 sevens lights I was using. Been running this light for about a year now and it’s been 100% reliable.
If you have a rural king near you grab a couple of these, you’ll be happy you did. Even for backup lights in bug out kits or in your vehicle. For $5 you can’t go wrong.
This light pairs very well with my Sebenva 21!😂

  4. I still run a Streamlight Stylus Pro 2xAAA, but it's more for intentionally draining AAA's testing battery chargers. My Fenix MC10 is still running for a 1xAA light, nowadays my main driver is the Litra Torch which has since been my chestlight. On a side note I bought an owl patch from the store but got the wrong one. Been trying for a year to get word on that still in the package.

  5. This light was my favorite light, and since you've done a review on it Amazon has raised the price on this particular flashlight. I like your videos but right now I'm not happy about this.

    – From a disgruntled Amazoner…

  6. I own a few Stream Lights…a Stylus Pro and a Pro-Tac. Both worked great for awhile and after a few months the clicker on both took a crap. They ended up sending me three clickers on three different occasions. Now after a year the Stylus Pro still works and the Pro-Tac seems to choose which days it wants to work and which days it doesn't.

  7. I’ve been running my s20 for years as my daily flashlight. I’m an electrician and it sees constant use in attics and crawl spaces! Can handle anything from hiking to finding a dropped screw in a kitchen. Defiantly a quality product!
