CMMG has replied to my email and said the conversion kit is blowback operating system and works with piston or standard gas ARs
i have an adams arms piston kit so i can pull it in 5 seconds. so the it should be flawless for me. if not ill do this
i was wondering the same thing that if i took my piston out completely would it still work? i have a huldra arms upper if that makes any difference
Thanks for video. I have the same issue. 22 conversion kit on a piston ar15. I was wondering can you achieve the same result by removing the piston, since the conversion kit uses the recoil of the 22 to reload.
what about the LWRC? you think that would would work for it?
I heard someone say they got this to run by removing the piston rod and closing the gas port up front, so it becomes a straight blowback operation?
I have the same question, I got here by searching for a .22 conversion for piston driven AR's.
I wonder if it'll work in a Sig516 piston AR?. Good video man! Thanks.
@bigwinr69 Sure thing, I'll try to throw something up this weekend.
