Poboy has a 22LR conversion kit for an AR15. Naturally we wanted to know how well it works with an AR15 pistol with a 7.5 inch barrel. Let’s take a look and see what happens…..

I have one works great for me. Sounded like the bolt didn't close the whole way. Even if the charging handle is closed. My bolt sometimes needed closed just a little
get your hand off the mag, also is your scope mounted completely crooked?
i fired 1960's winchester 22lr through my cmmg coversion…out of 1000 round only 1 failed to fire but fired at 2nd time
CCi 22Long rifle 1200fps AR tactical copper plated round nose work amazing tried cci regular mini federal browning,, comes down to it CCi Ar tactical and the Quiet copper rounds work flawlessly.
i've seen people use a spacer to increase the tension of the action spring against the buffer. that way there is less "wiggle" of the CMMG conversion bolt against it?? i don't know for sure but i've been watching several of these videos because i'm intent on making a purchase at some point. i like the idea of a smaller cheaper round for practice and plinking, but your results here give me pause. also, AR-pistols are picky things anyway.. they should put it on the package: results will vary 😉
thumbs up
It looks like the conversion kit Spring isn't very strong on my dedicated cmmg when you pull back the charging handle and release it it goes forward with force yours looked very slow.
Rim fire blows .
Thanks a bunch for this video! The 22lr wont work the springs strong enough. I've got a S&W mp-15-22 w/ a slidefire stock, and talk about fun! It stops everyone on the fire range, and they want to know about it, and shoot it.
