  1. I have a question you know how the new law in California that you need be 21 to buy long guns and pistols but if I go to a gun show could I buy a gun there or do I need be 21?!?

  2. You might want to consider a 13" handguard instead of a 15". The ports on the 14.5" pinned muzzle brake are going to be perilously close to the end of the rail. Check anyways.

Love those Faxon Gunner profile barrels.

  3. Since I use the Aimsports Gen 2 handguard, I absolutely despise any handguard that requires timing and doesn't have anti-rotation tabs. Really affordable, really nice finish, excellent quality, and looks good; what more do you want? Also, try out Bear Creek Arsenal. They have a forged upper receiver with dust cover, foward assist, charging handle, and a nitride bolt/BCG for a 100 bucks. 👍

  4. 6061 is good quality aluminum…..if it's still dry film lubed in the upper, it will still be a keeper! 😁
Waiting to see the add-ons those make or break a good rifle..
    🤔🤔
Your going to love the "shorty" I garantee it…😉

  5. Maybe you can help me does the heavier grain 556 ammo the 69 75 77 grain ammo beat the crap out of the ar 15 and if it does is there a different buffer spring system that could help dampen the problem. I hope that made sence

  6. I had to do a double-take when I saw the starting price for that setup on Optics Planet…… $174 for Arctic White. I'm not sure what unaffordable is to you, but a stripped upper with hand guard for $174 is really pricey for me. You can get an AT3 slick side billet upper for $65 with a $30-$50 handguard and that would be affordable. Or you can get a stripped forged upper from ABC Rifle for $30 and put it with a $25 eBay hand guard for less than $60 combined, and that would be affordable……. I guess to me $174+ is definitely NOT affordable but to ballers like you it's no big deal.

  7. 6065 should be "ok" for an upper. My one query would be the durability of cerokote vs hardcoat anodized aluminum for hard use. After 300 or so rounds check the upper for cam pin wear. If you see it just do what the piston gun shooters do. get a pof roller cam pin.

  8. The upper for this project would be interesting used with a Fightlite (ARES) SCR lower.

The only thing I’d rather have on the upper is side charging as I think it works better when you don’t have a pistol grip.

You’re then totally 50 state legal.

  9. I DID A "COMMIE COMPLIANT" BUILD ON MY CHANNEL USING GUNTEC BILLET UPPER AND ULTRA LITE RAIL IN RED. GOT THE KEYMOD ALSO AS, BUT I PREFER MLOK. sorry for caps…work related
