Funny how so many people talk crap about anything that falls outside the current trend or norm (Low magnification/lightweight scopes). I have a similar setup on my S&W M&P 15 Sport II. Nikon Prostaff 4-12×40 BDC, Quad Rail, T-Pod, 150 Lumen Weapon light. I don't have the luxury of having multiple AR's for different purposes, so I want mine setup for all purposes, Hunting, general shooting, home defense, long range, short range, and just pure enjoyment. My Nikon 4-12×40 gives me that flexibility, and has never failed in any application. I can sight in clearly from 5 yards to 1000 yards depending on magnification setting. I had my Nikon on my 30-06, but kept it when I sold that rifle. I decided to give it a shot on my AR. I have not been disappointed. Enjoy it! I hope to see more videos of this setup!
