  1. Great videos as always sir. I've been considering a CMMG Mutant Mk47 because I am a big fan of the caliber and have several AK and SKS variant rifles. Do you have any history with the Mutant or do you foresee being able to do a review and range time with one? Always appreciate your candor and opinion.

  2. Another lovely piece of kit and I can't wait for the range time video. I'm glad you got the "trying stuff out deal" because people know you're going to be honest and it can only help to boost your channel. Great stuff!

  3. Aloha HR. Great video as usual! FYI- Your videos are not appearing in my daily subscription feed. I had to go down my subscription list and access your channel manually to see if you had a new video.

  4. Looks like a well built pistol, but more expensive than I would want to pay. I had a 16" carbine I built from parts a few years ago. It was fun, but I got rid of it when I bought a CZ Scorpion. I am building a different 9mm AR as a pistol and want to test the law folder with it. I have a bunch of Colt mags, so I will be using an adapter for them over the Glock mags.

  5. Another comment no related to this vid. Ypu possibly have explained this in another vid. My Dad was a trained sniper in the British Army back in the 50's and he taught me how to shoot rifles. I haven't shot AR types or lever action and I notice you tend to choke up on them with your grip when shooting them and with the older I guess heavier style of rifles (Except Lever action) you tend to hold them with a wider grip between the hands; the latter is the way I was taught shoot rifles. I hope I explained that OK why the difference styles what the advantage of the choke or shorter grip style.

  6. Great review as always. So pleased for you, more toys to play with and there are free(I realise you need to send them back), life is good. The gun is very interesting the price of around $1,500 seems high to me, I think for that sort of money if I wanted a small package for home defence (Something I could use for other applications as well) and I could live with the trigger(And didn't need a 9 mm that took glock mags) I would get a proven Styer Aug.

  7. Very good review. Looking forward to seeing on the range. The comparison of the recoil should be interesting.
Congrats on being asked to review. They know you will give a fair and honest opinion.
    Great job!

  8. Trying to figure out why someone would give this video, or any other for that matter, that HR put out a thumbs down? I just don't get it.
Whatever he does review will get a fair, knowledgeable and unbiased one…unless it is a Glock or 1911 that is! hahahahaha
    Just kidding HR!
Honestly though, Two things I want to see from the shooting video: #1: LRHO #2:Functionality with 115gr ammo.
Great video HR! As for the reviewing business……that'll be an awesome thing to watch develop! God bless!

  9. Hey, Chief! AIR ASSAULT!
    I have a couple of questions…and a funny note!

You explained that the Banchee takes Glock magazines…
    1. Those it takes all Glock magazines or only 9mm?
    2. Do you have to change the can if you have a different caliber?
    3. Does the Banchee comes in a longer barrel?

    Funny note:
I just have to tell you…and with all the respect that I have for you…someone at some moment has had to tell you the you are Sgt. Carters double! 😂😂😂.
Chief I’ll do the KP or push ups but it’s the truth! Hahahaha!
    AIR ASSAULT!

  10. Unique looking firearm. I’m always interested in any pistol caliber firearm. I have heard that 9mm is the most plentiful and cost effective ammo out there. More 9mm is produced and sold every year than all others combined and that includes rifle rounds. Truthfully, if the day came that I sold all my firearms and I only kept a pistol and a carbine standardized on one caliber, it would be 9mm.

  11. Look forward to your shooting review. We are not in position to spend $1500 on a 9mm pistol or carbine but enjoy watching anyway. Was surprised at 10 pound weight for a 5 inch barrel. Live in Missouri and CMMG has a solid reputation.

  12. Does it take Glock mags? I don’t own a Glock, so I’m kidding. 😉 My son bought a Draco AK pistol recently, and I’ve been slightly tempted to get something along the same lines. The 7.62×39 round is a bit more than I’d want in a handgun, so the CMMG looks very nice. The question I have, is “Why?” It doesn’t offer greater velocity, but could be more accurate for rapid fire. You’re looking great, Chief! 👍

  13. I have strongly considered a PCC for several reasons. But the 3 main reasons 1. My personal experience as a former SWAT officer, with the MP5. 2. Size and weight considerations . 3. Ability to use Glock mags (something I already have). I have had a CMMG AR in .556 for several years. The rifle has been a good reliable shooter. I know several people who have CMMG products. The only complaint I have heard was about hammer spring that was installed incorrectly. Easy fix. I recently built an AR pistol in .556. I have put about 500 rounds through it with no issues so far. I still find the Banshee interesting. I think this 9mm (pistol) with a 10.5 inch barrel if not suppressed, would be a great set up. I think I would prefer a shorter barrel if suppressed. Looking forward to range day. Blessings brother

  14. Good review, very thorough, well thought out, and presented. I fired one of these at my local range last week in .45 ACP and it was very pleasant to shoot. Thanks for the video and I look forward to your range report.

  15. I am looking strongly at the PCCs on the market. My ideal PCC would be a "charger" variant of the Ruger PCC takedown, and more at that price point ~ $400-500. The way I see it, if I buy one of these $1000 and up 9mm carbines, I am not saving money at the range shooting 9mm rather than 223, and I am not gaining any leathality.

  16. I recently acquired a 9mm Banshee in Midnight Bronze but have only shot it a couple of times due to my work schedule. I really like it so far, it’s a fairly pricey pistol caliber carbine (pistol) but it does function well and is solidly made and there is a slight reduction in recoil due to the radial delayed blowback design. I bought a can for it (Silencerco Omega 9K) and am waiting for it to get out of NFA jail so we’ll see how that goes. Great video Howard, I look forward to the range review.

  17. CMMG is obviously sending these guns out to channels that have mid range subscriber levels, almost every gun channel I watch that has 10k – 100k subs has “reviewed” the banshee this month. I’m wondering if CMMG has been bought bought out by either Olight or Thrunite because this is very typical of their MO.

  18. Well, since you invited comments… I hate this "reminder" gimmick. Got a new video? Post it and let me watch. Now. Don't post a faux-video then make me wait two days to view it. The quality of the content will drive views – not some arbitrary notion of what shifts people work, and trying to predict maximum viewing habits of a widely diverse workforce.

Keep the videos coming, but drop the "Premiere – Set Reminder" crap. OK, I feel better now.
