Yes, the C4 LED version is the 48 lumen version
I did the same thing with a stylus pro and a fenix LD01 head. In that config, the head gets overdriven, and puts out something like 100 lumens. I have the Preon 2, and I can say that I like the frankenlight better, as it's a forward clickie, where the preon 2 is a reverse one.
@Rcking1110 Going from the stylus's C4 led rated at 48 lumens to the maratac's 3 different settings it goes to 18 lumens on medium, 1.5 lumens on low and 80 lumens on high.
Now run times for each mode im thinking it would double the lifespan of what countycomm says the maratac will run for, but thats my speculation
That's a nice mod, so whats the lumens from the streamlight head vs the other one?

I've got a preon 2. Love the light! I've got a vid on it. I gave my stylus pro to my girlfriend. She has no idea how bad ass of a present that light is. lol
